There's usually quite a queue lined outside this little bar. Funny thing was when I went there the bouncer acted as if it was the hardest nightclub to get into. Sometimes there's a bit of a wait until the crowd shifts from pre-drinks and actually gets out of there.
They have a yummy selection of mixed shots which makes this place so popular for pre-drinks. But that's really not the half of it. Each shot will only cost you $3.50! But before you get too excited, the establishment also 'tries' to enforce a policy of three shots per person in order to prevent the RSA police from raiding their little place. And it is little - expect to be squished up in corners or in the tiny booths, with elbows in faces as you suck up your C.S cowboy. -

Ah, Eye Bar.
Hands down, the best place to get cheap, fast drinks and get loaded before heading to a potentially more expensive destination.
Located right opposite the main entrance of King's Cross Railway Station, Eye Bar is unmissable (just look for the big eye), even if it's a little small.
The staff are friendly, the drinks are fairly cheap, and best of all...
...wait for it...
...they will never not serve you! You can go up and order ten shots at a time, down them all in front of the bartender and ask for more, without anyone so much as batting an eye.
Apparently, there's just no such thing as 'too drunk' at Eye Bar!
